New York Pizza Pasta - Beaumont

Initially, we had high hopes for our meal. However, our mozzarella cheese stick appetizers arrived still frozen. The waitress was friendly and apologetic, quickly bringing us fresh ones. Unfortunately, things took a turn when my husband started eating his Shrimp Caprice. He bit down on something hard and discovered a metal wire mixed in with the mozzarella in his pasta. The waitress promptly came back to apologize once again, but we all lost our appetite and stopped eating at that point. To make matters worse, the manager never came to our table to address the situation. Instead, I approached the hostess to explain why we were leaving. She and the other staff members around her just looked at us blankly. After a moment, she mentioned that they believed the metal had come from a scrub brush in the kitchen and offered to remove my husband’s plate from our bill. However, I explained that we had hardly touched our food and did not feel safe continuing our meal. I insisted that we wouldn’t be paying for anything due to the situation. Throughout this ordeal, I must commend our waitress, who was both wonderful and genuinely apologetic.

The takeout experience is definitely not on par with dining in. I had a fantastic lunch last week when I dined in, but my takeout dinner tonight fell short. The portion was smaller and the price was higher compared to the lunch I had. The piece of chicken was quite small. If I decide to go back, I will make sure to dine in.

To my pleasant surprise, the general manager not only expressed genuine empathy but also offered to have his kitchen remake my dish with the correct customizations, which they executed perfectly. But that’s not all—understanding that I had ordered through Uber and had no way to pick it up, he personally went out of his way to deliver it to me. The fact that this wasn't even their error, and yet he went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction, speaks volumes. My experience far exceeded all my expectations.

Watched and listened to the skinny old Manger scream and yell at the cashier about the dishes being dirty when it was clearly not her fault, then after talking to 2 of the waitresses, they said the manager was a Tweeker and under the influence of Methamphetamines (METH) We will not be going back.!!!

Food was pretty good but service was pretty lackluster. Soda was bad and we told the waitress, she brought us water and still charged us for the soda. (only took about 2 sips) Never brought us silverware or napkins, had to get our own, forgot our appetizer and finally brought it out after we reminded her and our pizza was out. Then brought us the wrong bill. It was just disappointing.
