CLOSED! This was Great seafood! The BBQ shrimp appetizer was perfectly seasoned. He had the shrimp and grits which was excellent and I had the seafood Cobb salad which was excellent as well.

An amazing,authentic, Cajun restaurant find here in Beaumont Tx. I had heard from a colleague about this place, and decided to try it. Authentic Cajun food, fresh, flavorful, hearty and in generously-sized portions. I had the peppercorn steak with a thermidor sauce. The brandy hints were fantastic, as were the shrimp that topped it. This chef knows how to cook a steak! Collard greens were prepared with bacon bits, and hints of sweetness for a nice balance of flavor. These were wonderful!!! I normally don’t like mashed potatoes, however the mashed red potatoes here were remarkable. I could see they were freshly mashed, by hand, nicely flavored with some seasonings, butter and light cheese. Then I tried the homemade beignets, prepared to order, plus some strong coffee. Delicious. Service was outstandingly courteous, rapid and eager to please. My server, “Jacob” knew the menu and explained the dishes in nice detail. Prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is convivial and simple. I’m normally a very difficult customer, but this place wow’d me. Nice work. Grade=A+. S. Galante

Food was average. I ordered stuffed flounder and i am pretty sure it was catfish and it was mushy like it was frozen. My appetizer, boudain balls, showed up after our meal...lousy. Now there stuffing and cream sauce for the fish was very tasty. Mac and cheese not tasty gross would be a better word for it. Service...well our waiter was flying and it still took forever to get anything. No leadership in the front of the house or the back for that matter. I really wanted it to be great but it just wasnt wven average. I don't know how it got 4.7.

We have come here many times. Always great food and excellent service. I highly recommend this establishment to any one looking for a great meal.
