Beaver Brewing Company - Beaver Falls

The brewery has a variety of seating options, ranging from cozy couches to traditional tables and chairs. They also offer a good selection of beers on tap. My wife ordered a sangria while I tried two different hazy IPAs, both of which I really enjoyed. Jason, one of the staff members, joined us for a chat about the brewery and shared that they’ve been around for 11 years. He filled us in on the exciting developments the owner has implemented, which are all positive changes. He also provided us with a map of local brewery passports and recommendations for other breweries in the area and even in Ohio. Having visited around 80 microbreweries in the Pittsburgh region, we are nearing completion of our goal for 2023. Beaver Brewery is definitely a great stop, and there are other attractions nearby as well. We’ll be sure to return whenever we’re in the area. Huge shoutout to Jason for being such a fantastic host!

Our craft beer adventures took Steven and me to Beaver Brewing Company, and it turned out to be quite a unique experience. We tried the Roggenbier, a style and recipe that I've rarely encountered in our craft beer tastings. It's quite similar to a Hefeweizen, but with rye incorporated into the recipe instead. This outing was truly intriguing, and the beer had a nice, smooth, light flavor. I must give credit to the brewery for producing something out of the ordinary. I often find myself stuck in a rut, repeatedly trying the same mainstream beer styles, so it was refreshing to explore something different.

The blueberry saison was amazing!! This is our 5th brewery of the day, and it is easily my favorite. The brewers were super nice and welcoming. Very affordable as well. Dave liked the IPA. We will definitely stop back when we are in the area. Their tagline is The home of being different, and the beer selections ran true with rare but interesting combinations. They were fantastic.

I was seriously UNDERWHELMED! The beers weren 't even just ok and in fact tasted flat or old. With that said, we had one that was a semi-ok, (if comparing to an As Seen on TV make your own beer at home kit) a watermelon pour. It had flavor (dull) and it wasn 't something that made me want to get up and jump for joy. I was also UNDERWHELMED by the decor and layout, this place is nothing short of a dump. Cheesy, carnival style posters from the 80s on the walls (think 80s big hair chicks in bikinis), furniture and sofas from the 70s and 80s that no one wanted in their homes back then. Nothing chic or vintage or stylish about this place at all. Actually I felt like I was in some junky remote hunting cabin in the woods. Not a place anyone would want to be. Could have been out of a B horror movie scene. The people were rude too. It 's one of those small-town Beaver County yinzer places where everyone literally knows each other and all of their business. No one was interested in being nice to us or chatting it up with us and believe me we tried. We were absolutely treated like outsiders by the patrons as well as the two arrogant bartenders. It was almost as if they couldn 't be bothered by serving us; as though they didn 't need or want our business. We left after each having a beer. I will add a positive, just before we were leaving a lovely woman originally from the UK was there and we chatted it up with her for a bit. Honestly if it wasn 't for her it would have been a complete nightmare. Maybe they will get it together but it seems unlikely since they have a built-in crown of yocals that they cater to... which explains the low quality beer and atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this mess.

Beaver Brewing has some of the freshest, most flavorful, tastiest and most nutritious Beer I have ever tasted. I traveled the country and the world consistently for 30 years and had some of the best beers one could find in multiple locations including but not limited to the UK, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Estonia, Australia, New Zealand, Brasil, Argentina, etc. So refreshing to find a world class quality product in Beaver County we can be proud of and quench our thirst as well. Varied selection and sampler servings tray keeps it exciting and never boring.
