Well.....WE MADE IT! We can check this off our list of breweries in our passport and another tagabrew added to our collection. We loved everything about this brewery. They offer a very limited selection of beers, but wow...the beers they did offer were fantastic. He ordered the Red and I tried the sample of the other 3 beers. It just goes to show that all you really need is a solid Red, Amber, Stout, and Blonde. If you make it out to the island, Whiskey Point is most certianly worth the adventure.
Amazing location right downtown St James on Beaver Island in an old remodeled building. Lots of seating inside and several outdoor tables too. They are currently open but with limited hours during Covid. They had both their own beers and their own wines to choose from. They also make seltzers but none were on tap at the time. I tried both of their beers currently on tap: Irish Red and Blonde. Both beers were good and fit their beer profiles and what you would have expected. My friend tried the Blackberry Rhubarb wine and said it tasted great, a bit like sangria. Overall if you are on the island and enjoy beer or wine, this is a definite stop that needs to be made.
Beers are amazing! My husband got the Irish Red its an IPA 33 IBU ABV4.9% EXCELLENT! I had the Coldwater Agate its a Pilsner 30 IBU ABV 4.9%. Let me tell you I'm usually a one and done. Not this time.
