Unfortunately, I didn’t try either of those. I opted for the basic cheese pizza, potato skins, and cheesy garlic bread, and none of them were particularly good—especially the potato skins, which were the worst I’ve had. TJ Chumps offers an incredible pizza skin that completely outshines this one. I honestly couldn't even finish one piece. The cheese pizza was mediocre at best. Cheese pizza is my usual choice, and I have no intention of ordering this one again. As for the cheesy garlic bread, what is that pizza dipping sauce? It's terrible. Perhaps that contributed to my disappointment with the pizza overall. I was really underwhelmed and let down by this overpriced pizza. I would choose Pizza Hut a hundred times over before coming back here again.
My son and I visited Pies and Pints during one of our wing adventures, and it was a great experience. The char-grilled wings with sriracha, lime, garlic, and cilantro were absolutely amazing. We also highly recommend the Street Corn pizza; it was crispy, flavorful, and had just the right amount of heat. The highlight of our visit, though, was our server, Shayla! She offered excellent recommendations for her favorite dishes and even let us take some photos to help us remember our delicious meal. If Shayla happens to see this, we’ll be back soon, and next time we plan to add chicken to the Street Corn pizza!
The food and drinks here are fantastic, and the prices are reasonable. I understand it's part of the business model, but a little more topping on some of the pizzas would really make a difference. For example, I absolutely loved the Mexican Street Corn Pizza, but I found it had very little corn and was a bit dry. A bit more sauce and extra corn would elevate it significantly. I’m not saying I won’t order it again, but unless it gets a little enhancement, there are other pizzas that I enjoy more!
Update: 5/8/23 Last 4 pictures.. My boyfriend and I first time visiting this restaurant. It has been on my list for a while now and I can honestly say it did not disappoint in the food area. We got a large half mushroom garlic and half chipotle chicken and I must say they both were very well flavored! I really enjoyed my mushroom garlic. It was very very very flavorful! You could tell that all of the ingredients were very fresh, also the garlic bread and marinara was very good and the ingredients for that tasted very fresh as well. Due to this being my first time here I was not aware that their Shirley Temple came in a bottle instead of from the bar I was excited to see the bottle however, I wasn’t a fan of the taste so I sent it back but I did get a photo before I sent it back, I got a sprite instead which was much much better, very crisp. This place does not have ranch however, they do have their homemade sauce. I don’t remember the name, but it was supposed to be similar to ranch however, it definitely tasted more like blue cheese, which was okay for the time being, but I was looking forward to it, tasting more like ranch, like our waiter told us. Our waiter was Molly, which she was really nice however, I feel after we received our pizza. She kind of disappeared from us and we didn’t see her for a while, so we were ready to go, but had to wait until she came back to ask us for boxes and give us our check. I, however, would return because the pizza was that good! I was originally going to give a four-star due to the waiter however, the food definitely made up, for it would return!
Cake was so good. I’m not a big fan of the peanut butter, but this chocolate brownie mix with peanut butter just right! And the wings were great! Highly recommend their pizza!
