If you want tacos El comalillo is the place to go.BUT!!! If you want grilled chicken you they definitely have some quality stuff coming off that grill. The three piece meal is my personal favorite.Only reason they get four stars instead of 5 is due to:1. they charging more for credit purchases in order to try and sway people to use cash. Kinda rubs me the wrong way.2. There are times where the quality is inconsistent. Not every time. But every blue moon my food isn’t as hot or the skin on the chicken isn’t as crisp.
It is the real thing, just like being in LA man. Super good and lots of it.
This wasn't your ordinary taco food cart. They put their own spin on their food that separates them from the competition. Authentic, creative, highly flavorful, thoughtful recipes.I highly recommend their guacamole. The serving size is a little small, so I suggest ordering a larger size if that's an option. It's too good to not have left overs ?They don't take orders over the phone but there is a website you can place orders on which is really convenient.Good energy. Good food. I'm going back. I can't stop thinking about that Guac... ???
I wish I could say I had a really great experience but unfortunately I did not. The carne asada taco were absolutely gross! The meat didn't taste seasoned at all and most of my meat was fat literally just super chewy. Another thing is they charge for every single thing you go any other place and you can get jalapenos or salsa free on the side with your order. I really hate leaving reviews like this but I won't go back.Parking: The parking lot was absolutely hard to get in and to get out
We loved this place so much we didn't want to tell people about it to keep the lines small.Fortunately, they are always well prepared, on point and super quick to get your order done with nary a mixup. The food, cannot be talked about enough. Super tasty, super flavourful and never ever over seasoned so you can't actually taste the food.We drove by the other day on the way to get some burgers, said out loud we need to go back there soon and how I wished they had a Brick n Mortor place. We get to our destination and lo and behold there was an El Jefe Brick n Mortor place right there on 99. Needless to say we skipped the burgers and went straight there. The prices are also well worth the amount and the food you get. Lest you be one hungry human, you will certainly enjoy leftovers the next day.Absolutely double yes for El Jefe. (Please refer to the Brick n Mortor place on 99 so we can still enjoy our Beaverton place without the traffic. ????
