Hawaiian Time - Beaverton

I visited this restaurant for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. My husband, who is Native Hawaiian and quite particular about Hawaiian cuisine, said the Kalua pig was excellent, and he deemed the macaroni salad to be just right. I enjoyed the Huli Huli chicken, which was delicious! The portions were generous as well! We dined in, and the place wasn’t crowded, plus it was very clean. I noticed many people were picking up their orders placed online, and there was also a drive-thru option available. Just a heads up: I think they have a simplified menu at the moment due to shipping issues, but I actually appreciated the straightforwardness of it.

The food was excellent. I had the Kalua pork, which was served with macaroni salad and rice. They also offer a variety of seasonings that you can add to your dish. The snack portion was more than enough for lunch and reasonably priced. While the outdoor landscaping could use some tidying up, the interior was clean and well-maintained.

This has been one of my favorite places for years. Unfortunately, I won't be returning until beef is back on the menu. I understand that rising costs are a concern, but I would gladly pay a little more for it.

Went here when it was too hot to cook. I picked up some Hawaiian plate lunches to bring home after shopping. Tasted good, but no vegetables at all. Heh heh. These were alii, the large size. Plenty of food for several meals. Super busy at lunch time.

Absolutely amazing food and great service! Order was ready before I had filled my beverage. Highly recommended!
