Food was excellent. Very large portions. All items were home made. Highly recommend.
This is one of the top two Korean BBQ spots on the west side, alongside DJK. The waitstaff at New Seoul Garden are friendly and accommodating, even with my lack of knowledge about the cuisine, and they do a great job of checking in on you. The meats are well-seasoned and served in generous portions. The banchan side dishes change regularly and are packed with flavor. A tip: come hungry and bring a few friends, because you'll definitely get plenty to eat. If you leave hungry, it’s likely because you were busy doing all the cooking for your table. It can get a bit warm inside during the summer, but they have fans to help cool things off. Overall, it’s a fantastic dining experience.
I had never tried Korean BBQ before, and this restaurant is the perfect introduction! Gather a group of four or more and order one of the combo meals (which includes a fantastic soup). Your experience will be unforgettable!
The Korean food here is quite good. Among all the places I've tried in the Portland area, this restaurant has the best layout. The Tofu Kimchi is fantastic—I really enjoyed it!
