Smiley's - Beckley

I stopped by to try the Steak Hoagie and Peanut Butter Pie I had seen in a local TV spot. The establishment had only 1 waitstaff and I felt so sorry for her as she attempted to take phone orders, seat people, take walk-in orders, and bus tables. One table left after ordering drinks and waiting several minutes without it coming. Another left after waiting several minutes to be seated. I was there approximately 30 minutes waiting for my walk-in order watching as tables were neglected due to the strain put on the waitress. Now to the food. Unfortunately the Steak Hoagie was average and the fried bologna sandwich I ordered for my father was 2 blackened bologna slices between 2 pieces of white bread...nothing else. I won't be back. PS. The pie was good.

The food was alright. I was hoping that this new restaurant would be a local gem, but nothing stood out as being special. The service was terrible. The kid that waited on us acted like he was inconvenienced by us.

Wonderful location, fantastic staff, delicious food! A must-visit spot!

This restaurant was truly fantastic. Although we had to wait a bit, I must say that the food was well worth it. Unlike typical fast food, the meat here was genuine and full of flavor. I will definitely be returning more frequently!

The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was enjoyable, and the staff were friendly. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience and I will definitely be returning.
