NOW....it is dirty, dirty, dirty. 2 of the restaurants are closed down, Starbucks had no food(while advertising all the new fall treats), they had one coffee....at a coffee shop!!!! The milk and half n half containers were empty and looked like they hadn't been cleaned since last October. The only plus...the 3 ladies were very kind and working hard to serve the 20+ people in line. Whoever owns the building.....time for you to get out of the business! If it is the state of West Virginia....you get an F-. You are losing your captive audience!!
If you 're driving through West Virginia and need to stretch your legs, stop by the good 'ol Tamarack. You won 't be disappointed. Clean bathrooms, a cafeteria, tons of locally made goods and art, this is an oasis to someone who 's been on the road for six hours. I 've stopped here a couple times now and it 's always fun to look around, great some fresh air, and see what West Virginia has to offer visitors. It 's right off the interstate, so it 's hard to miss. There 's also a travel stop really close by, which is convenient. Each time I stop in I walk away with a snack, a bottle of wine, or a silly knick knack of some sort. Great for those with kiddos too!
