Morrisons Cafe - Bedford

Are you desperate for staff. The lady on the till is quite frankly the rudest person I’ve ever encountered. Younger lady was very friendly. Get some manners on the till.

Popped in for a breakfast, and went for the £8 big fry up. Nothing was fried except the egg: oven cooked hash browns, sausages and black pudding. For their biggest breakfast I was hoping for more than one little pieced of bacon. The egg was ok. Hygiene wise, it seemed a bit dodgy. Cutlery is help yourself from big buckets …. Didn’t want to think how many hands had previously touched my knife and fork. No napkins available either to clean them. Will visit a proper cafe next time

Food was good but plagued with flies in the restaurant we counted at least 16 whilst trying to eat. Other that that the food was good.

I absolutely love the Vegan Breakfast and the Americano at this restaurant. Both my sister and husband also enjoy them. If you don't like the food here, you should go somewhere else and pay more because it won't be better than Morrisons. The cafe staff, as well as all the staff, are wonderful with their smiles and incredibly polite service. They have cheered me up on tough days. I always come here alone to sit quietly and enjoy my Americano. I am a bit disappointed that they changed their £5 voucher system and no longer accept NHS cards. I hope they don't let the Americans change it! Thank you Morrisons for your vegan options and I hope to see more vegan and gluten-free options in the future. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Went to have breakfast this morning and it was disgusting. There was not one cup on the clean rack that WAS clean. The cutlery was also all dirty, my sister even washed ours under the hot water tap on the tea machine. Every surface was tacky to touch and the whole cafe was overall dirty. As for the food, it was Luke warm and some items not even cooked through and we had to ask for ‘cooked’ items. I for one will never return or recommend anyone to have a bite to eat there, it’s shocking the council haven’t closed them down yet and how no one has got ill is beyond me.
