Tesco Cafe - Bedford

We were served food on paper plates and half of our breakfast order was missing. The food leaked through the plates, leading to us being told that lasagne was not available. The meal was cold and unpleasant, especially considering the price of £13.38. One would hope for a minimum level of decency when dining at a cafe. I wouldn't even give this food to a dog, though at least a dog's bowl would be more suitable than paper plates.

The food was served on paper plates with grease from the breakfast soaking through. When I cut into the sausage, it tore a hole in the plate. The food was lukewarm and the bacon was overcooked. Overall, it was a disappointing breakfast experience and I do not plan on coming back.

The best breakfast in Bedford. Anyone who thinks otherwise is mistaken.

They have taken fish and chips off the menu, which was the only decent thing. Ordered the haloumi burger and chips instead, for the price you pay the quality is appalling. Service is always so slow, staff jump they queue, one person at the till. Won't be back any time soon.

What a difference the upgrade some time ago as made, and the speed of service, and table service now first class I use it most weeks.
