The Chequers - Bedford

I enjoyed another delicious and generous Sunday roast, topped off with some scrumptious desserts. Thank you very much!

Unfortunately, The Chequers has closed its doors for good. It's uncertain whether it will reopen in the future.

We enjoyed a delightful afternoon tea today—thank you! The selection included a wonderful variety of sandwiches, sausage rolls, and scotch eggs, all accompanied by some delicious chutneys. This was followed by a generous assortment of cakes, pastries, and scones. Everything was delicious, and we had plenty left over to take home! As always, the service was friendly and welcoming.

The hosts are fantastic and incredibly welcoming. The atmosphere is wonderful, and there's live music to enjoy. The menu is extensive, offering a wide variety of options.

Fabulous takeaway food we had this evening. Lovely treat not to cook, can thoroughly recommend the Brie and Mango parcels, delicious, thank you Chequers xx
