Zeera Tandoori Take Away - Bedford

Food was really tasty but we paid for a prawn dish which was a good few pounds more expensive than the other dishes and it only had 3 prawns in it! They had made it a mixed meat dish instead. They do have a mixed meat dish on the menu which is cheaper than what we paid for. We also didn't get the free chicken strips for spending over £29. We didn't complain this time as we just wanted to eat our food whilst it was still hot and not have the hassle. We have previously had a problem with a missing starter which we had ordered and they argued a bit before agreeing for us to come back for it. This, along with the prices constantly going up and it being increasingly more hit and miss with getting what you've ordered means we're going to start going elsewhere from now on.

We enjoyed a great takeaway curry from here on a busy Friday night (at the start of the River Festival). Great quality food, cooked beautifully. We especially enjoyed the Butterfly King Prawn starter and the Cheesey Chicken main. We will definitely use again when next in Clapham.

I ordered a takeaway on New Years Eve. Appreciating they would be busy I decided to collect the meal in person instead of waiting additional time for a delivery. I ordered at 18:15 and was told it would be ready at 19:00, I therefore arrived at the takeaway at 18:55 and at 19:00 asked if it was ready, they said no and it would be at least another 45 minutes ! The meal finally arrived at 19:55 with No apology from them for the delay. They were clearly overwhelmed because the food was not good. I have had a few meals from Zeera and they have been okay but this was just very average. The chicken tikka biriyani was awful, the chicken was supposed to be tikka pieces but was just plain chicken. The Chicken Tikka Masala contained half the amount of chicken and sauce you would normally get ! Very disappointing experience from Zeera.

I ordered a take away for 12 people for my Dads 75th birthday as this restaurant offered his favourite ‘duck jalfrezi’ , we have never ordered from here before. I called the takeaway and put a written list of orders through their door 3 days before. The food was delivered on the dot at 7 pm, it was packaged perfectly , with everyone’s names on the dishes for easy distribution for us all . The poppadoms and relishes and starters were a brilliant start. This was more than a take Away , it was a banquet. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. We will definitely use them again . Thankyou

Shocking!!!!! Never again I will never order again from there. Rude and arrogant. I hope this place closes down
