G.e. Brown Fine Food Provisions

I absolutely adore this local coffee shop. It's a cozy spot for coffee, cards, and sandwiches—simple pleasures that brighten my day. The friendly staff adds to the charm, making every visit even more enjoyable. I truly love this place.

I visit GE Brown nearly every day, and I can confidently say they serve the best coffee in the area, along with a fantastic selection of delicious dishes. They also offer a variety of healthy snacks. My family can't get enough of the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese—it's truly the best! Additionally, they have a wonderful selection of baked goods, including gluten-free breads, brownies, and biscuits, as well as home décor, dishes, barware, mixers, and more. GE Brown definitely enhances the quality of life in the Bedford Pound Ridge area! The staff, including the owner, are incredibly friendly and always ready to help. I absolutely love this place!

I am especially my health and tend to avoid vegetable oils and fragrances in my products. I was so surprised to hear that GE did not serve practically any food with vegetable oil. This is not even in super fine restaurants! Only olive oil and butter for the most part. Many of their candles are also made from essential oils, no hard synthetic fragrances? What a great healthy place!

"This place has a nice vibe, but the coffee was disappointing. The only fresh sandwiches they offer are the bacon, egg, and cheese, as well as the grilled cheese; everything else is pre-made. I found the prices to be quite high for what you get. I tried a coffee cake, and it was just okay. However, the staff at the counter were sweet and friendly. If you're coming from the city and aren't familiar with the area, I wouldn't recommend making a stop here."

Average coffee in all but price (overpriced). Slightly worse than average overpriced pastries. Unfriendly staff. No empathy w customers. Better choices just over the road.
