Excellent food, great atmosphere and then the name . Love the Metropolis Diner. My kids and they're in their twenties always thought and still comment that one of the superheroes from the DC characters, Superman or Batman, etc would walk in and sit up by the counter like it was just an ordinary day. Love it. Great for your family or your friends or both just a pleasant experience overall.

I’ve always had a special affection for Metropolis Diner. I told the kids that it was Superman’s hangout, and since they love him, they were thrilled. It feels like Superman could just walk in at any moment! It's a fantastic place for families.

The service was polite and accommodating, and the atmosphere was lovely throughout. However, the food was rather bland and not well-prepared. The home fries were undercooked, and the mozzarella sticks were overcooked to the point that half of them were devoid of the delicious, gooey cheese I was looking forward to. If you’re seeking a restaurant with excellent service, this is a great choice for you.

I've never been let down by anything I've ordered from Metropolis. Whenever someone is feeling under the weather, I always recommend their Chicken Orzo soup—it's far better than anything from a can or other places around here. The two guys at the front are awesome, and all the waitresses are great as well!
