The Market+cafe At Plate - Bee Cave

I had the grilled salmon menu item. Taste was great but only a 4 to 5 oz cut Much too small for a hungry man. $32 Price for size of cut out of line. Decor was nice. Service very slow. Have not and will not return. zGo to Zest in Lakeway instead.

Wishing we tried this place sooner! Took a friend to dinner because I couldn 't tell if this was a place our whole family would like or not. They have a variety menu an upscale vibe, but very friendly (not pretentious). I will definitely be back with family and friends. I 'm sure this will turn into a frequent dining place for us. We shared so I tried the park, halibut, vodka cherry limeade, and bites of a trio of desserts: peach, espresso Crème brûlée, chocolate cake. Halibut was amazing, cooked perfectly. The espresso crème brûlée bowl was almost licked clean. Our server was friendly and on it . The manager stopped by to check on our satisfaction and was also very friendly. Thank you for an enjoyable and mouthwatering dining experience!

I love this place! Vibe: As you can see in the photos the natural- looking atmosphere makes you feel relaxed as you sit down. The restroom was also so cute and had a cabinet with a hairbrush, and perfumes you can try on! Food: Wine was amazing, and food was excellent too! We ordered steak and shrimp pasta. Steak was great, a little bit salty for me and I preferred the pasta dish so we swapped : plenty of food! Service: The only downside I would have to say was the service. Nobody came to our table for 10 minutes (not so busy and we weren't really sure what we were supposed to do. When we finally asked someone if there will be someone serving us, a waitress came and said that would be her. She didn't seem very friendly, but we didn't mind that much and I also think she seemed new. Towards the end a friendly male staff came to us and asked about food, and greeted us goodbye as we were leaving which was sweet of him. So I'm keeping the 5star review. My partner told me that usually, they serve customers straight away so I guess it was just a small hiccup for this time only! I highly recommend this place :

SO SO good! We can’t wait to go back and try more. This is by far the best food in Spicewood.
