We paid $20 for a pizza that looked like a small personal pan pizza from the frozen pizza section in Walmart. They haven’t had their “grand opening” yet so before then they desperately need to add more people to the staff. Looks like a nice atmosphere to grab a beer at for ski season but would not come here for food. Especially when there’s more places to choose from in the area with higher quality, lower prices, and way more options to choose from.
Two stars for the cost of a f meal on a quiet crowd less Sunday night. $20 for baked spaghetti, $20 for flatbread pizza and 18 for 6 wings and $20 for breaded chicken parmigiana sub.. smh I mean I get a good atmosphere may cost a little more but this was a dive bar.
We stopped by Mile High Tavern which I guess was previously Fraziers on our trip to Beech Mountain. Previously we never had stopped anywhere to eat on the mountain so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant was clean and looked really nice but we felt it was WAY to overpriced for what it was. You order at the counter and they bring you the food to your table. No actual servers. The food is served county fair style. They were charging $20 for 6 wings, etc. We decided to only get drinks since we were already there. We spent $40 between two drinks and they were alright. Served in cheap plastic cups. For the price I’d expect nice glassware. It may just be location since there’s not much on the mountain but definitely mind blowing considering it was more expensive than some places we’ve eating on South Beach Miami and Disney in Orlando for example. I’d say venue looks nice but prices kept me from enjoying the food.
Stopped here because it was the closest place open after the lifts closed at 10pm. Got the chicken parm pasta dish. Baked pasta topped with about 2 sliced tenders for $26. The food was decent but I’ve had a better meal in Breckenridge for less. Definitely overpriced but if you need food late at night it will do the trick. Service: Dine in
