La Parrilla Bejarana

We entered this restaurant motivated by the price of the seafood trays and we were seriously mistaken. It all started to get suspicious when a family got up before we were served and left us a what 's up with a somewhat intriguing tone. I recognized the stew because sometimes I throw cans at home when I don 't know what to do and indeed it was Litoral (homemade, homemade , the lentils, of course, the same. The salads basically have tomato, onion, lettuce and a surprise ingredient left over from somewhere, since we ordered several salads and some had tuna... (good , others orange... (how? . It 's better not to talk about seafood and desserts, well... At least you know that if you order something that is going to come packaged you won 't get sick... And all this did not come out as cheap as we had hoped. Of course, the intriguing aspect of the waitress taken from a Tim Burton movie, together with the fact that we took the Litoral cans as a joke, made us at least have a laugh while eating. So if partying is more your thing than good food, I highly recommend this place ;

We were three friends in October 2014 and we ate at the movies!!!! We chose the seafood menu and it was also very fresh and very well cooked. DELICIOUS!!!! The suckling pig was a little dry but after what we had eaten of seafood... nothing to object to. SAlection of delicious homemade desserts. Felix very nice and kind !! thank you!

A shameful hostel but especially the restaurant. The size rooms are good but they are not clean by any means, the beds are very bad, the extra one is not even a mattress, they are foam cushions joined by the sheet. There is an emergency light inside the room! that he did not let us sleep all night and the television could not be seen, but there was no one to complain to because there is no one there from 12 at night until 12 in the morning..... you are alone in the lodging house. When we arrived, the man who served us at the bar seemed very friendly with a very familiar treatment, we ordered a few beers and, apart from the corresponding tapa, he invited us to some more, but I have to say that the quality of the tapas does not even reach the sole the shoes of the tapas of the rest of the restaurants and bars in Bejar... the fact is that he charmed us and convinced us to eat his exquisite rice with lobster there the next day, and that 's how it was, when we arrived we sat down to the table and as a starter they placed the leftovers of the reheated anchovies but already cold that serve as a tapa and when they bring the rice it is a discolored brick broth with old rice and the worst seafood I 've ever tasted in my life! The miserable piece of lobster that was there stank of ammonia, just like the two prawns that were also floating around.... Obviously we sent it back and the friendly treatment at the beginning, which was only to convince us to go eat their food , brightness by its absence on the part of all the staff that is the least professional that I have seen. Bad faces and bad treatment from the kind gentleman at the bar and especially from the public relations and waitress. I love Bejar, I am in love with its tapas culture and places like this embarrass my wonderful town. We will never return because apart from all this the place smells of frying that no one can stand it! Get closer to Pavón, Abrasador, La Plaza, EL Bosque, El Francés, La Plata and many more!.......anyone except this one.

What a seafood platter with rice that they put on us at the Posada del Peso to start a fantastic weekend in Béjar. Highly recommended site, very friendly staff, a very cozy rural environment ideal for couples who wish to spend a weekend in Béjar.

The previous comments have nothing to do with reality. The one at breakfast commented on it referring to the previous man who ran the restaurant, that is, he had changed address and it is not at all what this man says. Regarding the other comment, I don't know why or what it is because a child between 10 and 12 years old did it, since I ran my restaurant we have not served wine to this underage child and of course as eroski says for €4 .
