I wasn't provided with the extra sauce I requested. Otherwise, the order was good.
The Bento Sushi concession inside ShopRite at Festival Shopping Center provides a good opportunity for a grab and go meal as one finishes up grocery shopping. If it were not for Google Maps, I would not have known the place existed. Inside the store, the small refrigerated section lacks signage and is packed between two other ready to eat meal options. Once found, Bento offered nicely presented options at a good price. I was happy to see the bright green seaweed salad, one of my favorites. I also bought pork Gyoza (dumplings) that were five in a packet and quite flavorful. There were several vegetable options for sushi, including the two kinds of California Roll and four different shrimp rolls. I got the shrimp tempura crunch and the spicy shrimp. everything was packed with condiments, including soy sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi. The flavors were good, though the rice itself had toughened a little due to the refrigeration. I noted that a sesame chicken dish was also available. While Bento does not substitute for a freshly made role in a sit-down restaurant, it works well as a time saver.
Sent a Maki roll instead of a hand roll. Otherwise, very good.
It was bad.
