Le Vieux Pont - Belcastel

Very nice table that will delight gastronomes. A renewed card and exquisite desserts. A trip to Belcastel for such a meal is essential to all those who love French gastronomy.

Everything is perfect! The delicate and tasty seasonal meal, clever mix of flavours and textures, made with local products and with a lot of research and sensitivity. Small care staff, benevolent and professional accompanies you throughout the meal. The pleasant and bright restaurant room despite the rain of this day. Little anecdote, my husband had forgotten her reading glasses and the waitress offered her to choose a pair of troubleshooting in a box intended for this purpose. It was very appreciated! Not to mention the village of Belcastel, simply beautiful. In short, I recommend without hesitation. We are well decided to come back in the spring to test the new season menus. Thank you to the whole team.

Tres disappointed this last time because much too expensive (220 € for 2 with1 glass of wine per dish) seen the few foods served in the plate and the menu offered: 1 onion broth with some cabbage leaves and the deer served with 3 gnocchis and qelques brins of vegetables. But dessert is very good. Of course there are more mignardises at the beginning of the meal and although I am not a great eater I found that it was quite limiting to the quantity level. Good-bye THE VOICE A lot better elsewhere! But the village is a wonder.
