Having tried a number of different ones, one thing I can say is that there isn't one that I haven't enjoyed. Favorites would be cold cut, meatball, chicken parm, and pastrami. I'll typically get a couple different kinds so I get to have a bit of each.
In the 16 years I've lived here in town, this location has been at least 3 different pizza/sub shops, and never has the inside changed. That being said, this one, food wise is pretty good. More often than not I opt for a veggie grinder, like I did tonight. It's delicious! Minus the mushrooms for this girl. Cheeseburger grinder is surprisingly good too. I'm not picky on how my meat is cooked, long as it's not well done and I've only ever received it with some pink. I do like how when you spent I think around $20-$25 they throw in free garlic bread....works for me when getting a big pizza to share! The pizza is solid here too. Sometimes there is a little more sauce on it than I particularly enjoy but it's never swimming in sauce.
Few days ago I went there for first time I ordered large Turkey Grinder with bacon Wow they were huge and delicious Loaded with good amount of Turkey Good size I was impressed Nice cozy place I will definitely return again to try their pizza And calzone
Beware of the $2 phone tie up fee they charge to take debit/credit cards over the phone. That with a delivery charge of $3 and you are $5 deep without even ordering anything yet. The pizza is OK, but not the best in town. Very greasy. Unless it 's Monday and the competition is closed I 'll order elsewhere... update After a very long hiatus (boycott) because if their fees we tried it again. The fish and chips used to be the best and town. It is now the worst I have ever had. They changed their fish--looks worse the what you would pick up in the frozen section at the store. It tasted even worse. Threw the rest away after a few bites. Onion rings, also used to be good. Now, right in the trash. Breading was doughy and soft. Onions were mush. The sub we got was OK. Mozzarella sticks, run of the mill. Chicken strips were actually decent.
8 26 2020. Ordered pizza tonight for dinner. We had a large half cheese, half hamburg (asked for extra), onions, garlic. Plus a small pepperoni. These pizzas were delicious. One of the best pizzas we have ever had. Crust was nicely cooked, crisp, not grease overload. The flavor was right on. Located near the Belchertown common, there is convenient parking. They are only doing take out at this time of Covid. Prices are really good and you get what you pay for, plus. Their subs grinders are fantastic as well. If you get the hankering for pizza, or a grinder, you have to try Belchertown Pizza. You will not be disappointed.
