This in fact turned out to be seven courses given the addition of three amuse-bouche which, along with a bottle of Synthèse wine, from their own vineyard, made for a very pleasant meal as all the food was very good.Moving to the next night, we plumped for the eight course Longitude menu which would have been eleven with the additional three amuse-bouche but we simply could not eat them all but the food we did eat was as good as on the first night. However, there was a bit of a disappointment in that the wine flight, we ordered to accompany the meal, was a bit of a let down and did not do the food justice. If it had, this would probably have been a five star review.
I would gladly recommend to friends. the loss of the star and the change of chef who accompanied it did not alter the quality and inventiveness of the proposed dishes.
