I tried the sweet potato and lentil tacos with all the trimmings, including vegan sour cream. It was delicious and I highly recommend it. They also offer a three bean chili and various rice options. Overall, a great dining experience with plenty of vegan choices.
Boojum is a Mexican burrito bar also serving other traditional Mexican street dishes, including tacos, burrito bowls and nachos. There are several branches throughout the city, and several more throughout the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Boojum is perfect for a quick lunch or bite to eat whilst exploring the city, and when ordering you can customise each dish the way you want it. My girlfriend and I ate in Boojum right before catching our transfer back to the airport. Being pressed for time we needed the speediness and casualness Boojum offered. The only downside is that Boojum doesn’t serve any meat substitutes, such as soya strips, tofu or seitan, and no vegan cheeses, but you can pack your dishes with plenty of black beans, salsa and guacamole to compensate.
They have many vegan ingredients to make a giant wrap. Watch the spicy one. Besides, they're very kind. One point in favor is that they have bigger schedules than other sites.
Boojum is a great place to get filling and tasty food. Helpful staff and great flavoured food.
I was initially hesitant when I heard that Boojum was the go-to spot for burritos in Belfast. However, after trying one myself, I have to admit it was surprisingly delicious. As an American accustomed to places like Chipotle, I was impressed. Despite the long line that stretched out the door on a busy Friday night, the wait was reasonable, only about five minutes or less. I opted for a vegetarian burrito, which was the most affordable option and included complimentary guacamole, peppers, onions, choice of lime or Mexican rice, black or pinto beans, various salsas, lettuce, and corn. The portion size was generous, offering great value for the price. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning to Boojum as a staple in Belfast.
