I'd be better off if I didn't. the appetizers were placed much too heigh for me to reach, and they consisted of plates of salami, plates of...letter with cheese and caesar dressing, each of eggs in mayo, apple and the strange garnel cocktail, herings, poached salmon and a plate of sink. the main thing was dried with truthahn, ham, bratbeef and pork. the veg were muddy carrots, cauliflower cheese, bratkartoffels, very lumpy maische, yorkshire puddings, filling and gravy. the cauliflower cheese was so disgusting, it played on my head all afternoon until it actually made me sick. I can only describe it as eating a water-reported sponge covered in a kind of powdery cheese sauce.
That was a terrible experience. I do not understand the number of positive assessments here. the caterers were not proud of all in their Carvery fare, it is aimed at the lowest common nenner of gourmet savvy customers, many of whom sad compliment the restaurant in...the reviews here. the starters were fit, but the main tariff was pathetic. the bark was over boiled and leathery. the filled pork was completely dried and filled with cheap proprietary. accompanied with undescribed industrial engraving. müll was watery and splashy. it was obvious that all available vegetables had been overcooked and had “sat” for a considerable time on the display. our family chose the chocolate mousse that was not chilled. they gave him a Bye ball at the table. coffee to finish was boiled to death, recalling a brewery of a one-star Spanish All-Inclusive.
What a wonderful afternoon! The staff were incredibly friendly. The food was delicious and the children's entertainment with Jurassic Hor was fantastic! We will definitely be back for future special occasions.
My Nephew married in July. We flew from England for the Wedding on Saturday, stayed nights. Absolutely fabulous staff, food Devine! Meat, Veg and extras superb. Beautiful surroundings. Returned to Englad full and Happy.
We arrived at La Mon Hotel for the buffet on Fathers Day a few minutes early. A young girl attempted to escort us to our table but seemed confused about its location. We had difficulty getting a staff member's attention to take our drink order, and it took a long time before we were able to get a drink during our meal. The food selection was good, but we encountered long queues at the main table and children's counter. The dessert table was also overcrowded, resulting in a wait to be served. Many others in line were also unhappy with the wait. The children's entertainment room had a bouncy castle, soft gun play, and face painting, but there was only one person doing face painting and balloon modeling, leading to a long wait. Overall, the experience was not as relaxing as we had hoped for Father's Day. We usually prefer the buffet at Stormont Hotel on Sundays, as they stagger the number of guests throughout the sitting and prevent long queues like the ones we experienced at La Mon Hotel.
