I have made the pancakes with the Wee plate of lenses of cabbage-based. it was so good, especially as they knew it was cooked at home! it was the perfect amount for a person, or maybe a little too much. it would definitely come back.
I stumbled after the taste of Ethiopia on social media. I was surprised when I appeared at the specified address to find myself at the doorstep of a family. there was no mistake. this is a family business born from the lockdown situation of a clearly talented (probably Ethiopian) couple. our order was accepted and we were told it would be freshly prepared and ready for the collection in 25 minutes. there are several vegan options. forgive me that I didn't use the right names because it was my first Ethiopian meal and everything was new to me. we have shared a part of lentilssamosas with sweet chili sauce. Ethiopian pancakes, boiled rice and a plate of four dressed. two were lens base and two were carbureted. it was just the right amount for two adult and came to £19. very aromatic and not too oily. we were very satisfied, but not filled. there are also some other vegan options. the man who took our order was very pleasant, helpful and polite and seemed to see us he put us on our lightness after the strangeness, knocking the door, which did not seem to be a farewell! their Instagram account had two timeliness ratings that explain the background to the business that is worth reading. updated by previous review on 2021-06-12
I stumbled upon taste of Ethiopia on social media. I was surprised when I turned up at the listed address to find myself standing at the front door of a family home. There was no mistake. This is a family run enterprise born out of the lockdown situation by a clearly talented (presumably Ethiopian) couple. Our order was taken and we were told it would be freshly prepared and ready for collection in 25 minutes. There are several vegan options. Forgive me for not using the correct names as it was my first Ethiopian meal and all new to me. We shared a portion of lentil samosas with sweet chilli sauce. Ethiopian pancakes, boiled rice and a platter of four dishes. Two were lentil based and two were cabbage based. It was just the correct amount for two adults and came to £19. Very aromatic and not too oily. We were nicely satisfied but not stuffed. There are a few other vegan options too. The gentleman who took our order was very pleasant, helpful and polite and seemed pleased to see us He put us at our ease after the strangeness of knocking the door of what appeared not to be a takeaway! Their Instagram account had two newspaper reviews explaining the background to the business which are worth a read. Updated from previous review on 2021-06-12
This is one of my favorite dining experiences in Belfast. I love that it is a collection-only service from their home. The food is beautiful, delicious, and offers healthy options. I especially love the injera!
I was surprised when I went to pick up my order and realized it was someone's house! However, a very friendly man greeted me and suggested I wait a few minutes since I arrived early. He later brought out my food to my car. I ordered pancakes with a small platter of lentils and cabbage-based dishes. The food was delicious, especially because it was homemade. It was just the right portion size for one person, although it may have been a bit too much. I would definitely order from here again.
