The Jailhouse - Belfast

Beautiful drink here as part of the Christmas visit in belfast. so busy in that I was glad we went out to stand

The jailhouse is my no1 go-to in belfast for a relaxing pint, sometimes eat (what is excellent) and above all a relaxing atmosphere with friendly staff. I almost always sit outside and enjoy the ambiente while I watch people enter joy’s. henry’s is another perfect option for drinks of the same high quality food, often live entertainment later at the weekend.

Excellent cocktails and very knowledgeable staff. had a very interesting conversation about birds stuck in the deck! very pleasant experience and another trip to north of Ireland to go back there.

The Jailhouse has great food and cocktails with excellent service. Tables inside and outside under cover. Hidden down Joy's Entry it is worth hunting out. For more formal dining choose Henry's, named after Henry Joy McCracken, the United Irishman who led the rebellion in Belfast.

Called in Saturday afternoon for food. Had a good meal and plenty of space to get away from the crowded bar area as this place is massive. Friendly waitress and staff,nice food not too dear and great service. The toilets are a few flights of stairs up so if you have dodgy knees be warned. Great place. ..
