Titanic is in front and in the middle, from the artefacts to the reconstruction of state spaces, everything is carefully in detail to bring the ship out of legend and into reality, as well as a human connection to all participants from the first rivet until it reaches the Atlantic floor. It moves deeply to stand at the place where the most famous ship was placed in the Kiel world and to think of all that was lost from its downfall. Although Titanic is most famous for its narrowing, the museum is not deeply immersed in the sinking, it is part of the museum only not the primary focus. Very recommend a visit for a sober experience and learn more about this really legendary ship.
The building is breathtaking from the outside and directly at the actual doping the Titanic was built. The experience itself is excellent. The whole thing is so good and you get a big background on shipbuilding in Belfast along with the Titanic. We were there over two hours and the time was flying. The short journey within the museum to the bowels of the ship during its construction was a surprise and a big bonus. I was disappointed that you can only see the famous big stairs, not really go down replica of him. Loved the holograms in the mockup cabin, and the bar tender on the tender boat, which is called Nomadic ship over the street on the quay. This is the most state-of-the-art tech museum I have ever visited, it is welcoming and tells the story in an interesting way. Visited in May 2018.
Absolutely loved this place. It is very fascinating, many interactive exhibitions, including a glass floor that looks like you are going over the Titanic wreckage, and a cool ride that leads you through what it would have been like for those who build the ship, wheelchair-friendly, so if it is safe, I will take my father. My family has a long history with the Titanic, and Harland and Wolff as well, so it is fascinating for us to see how it would have been for them. A must for everyone with a fascination of Titanic, or history in general.
Had a great time here, it is very well done and as interactive as possible to remain Covid safe. Understandably that some parts are closed off at the moment due to the current situation but would still highly recommend a visit. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well.
