We started our meal with delicious curry puffs as our appetizer, followed by a flavorful green chicken curry and a duck and vegetable dish from the grill. The staff was personable, friendly, and efficient. Additionally, Mariam's is a bring-your-own wine establishment.
What do you want to hear? authentic thai? no, far away from it. in comparison with meat and 3 sweets without season some people eat every night it was probably delicious it was the first time that I lived in tsw after a few decades and it is definitiw the last time. we were with another couple. we ordered 2 entrees and 5 dishes. the food was loaded in sugar! everything was so sweating we felt we eat dessert. as already said by other people, the roasted rice was made with frozen vegetables! no fresh or authenticity they would otherwise experience with Thai food. the service was average. they had no pfotensalate, so we ordered dim sims and fishcakes. for the main we ordered traditional fried rice, padthai, dee red curry, stir fried ingwer with huh and stir fried garlic meat. I asked for my bark, to be rare, it came overcrowded and hard!
Very satisfied with the quality of our food today. we ordered curry puffs and spring rolls, pad thai, growing tiger, penang curry, huhn and cashewnuss.
Penang chicken curry and chicken meat fried rice ordered. the only sweet in penang curry was carrot very small portion. baked rice was not much better - he had baked vegetables frozen. disappointed not to say cheaply the least and definitiw. there are better places that I am sure. Don't waste your money.
We went to Mariums last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food was amazing. We had a spicy duck curry and a spicy seafood curry. The meals were freshly prepared, veggies were crunchy and the food was piping hot. The coconut rice was the...only downfall as it had no taste of coconut only sweet sugar. Wasn't at all coconut rice. The next time, I will choose jasmine rice instead. This did not hamper the evening. Everything was lovely. The bill for two was $65 and that included the corking fee of $8. Highly recommended.
