I could’ve went and got a com chien dac biet traditional Vietnamese fried rice)! Way cheaper and more flavorful. Saturday was me and my wife first experience. That Brisket Rice for 20 dollars, Collard Greens for 16 dollars! Meat prices I understand fully, since pandemic. Ribs are the bomb, Brisket was alright, Pork Belly overly burnt dry and the Mac Cheese watered down.. Other than that, the atmosphere was spot on. Real BBQ come down to Burns in Acre Homes 44),Only true BBQ in H-Town!!!!! Parking: As long as you have a compact car or not afraid of scratches and dents then you might find a parking space. If you got a Big Truck then forget about it.
Love this bbq place. Might be my favorite in Houston. I go with my dad a couple times a month and we both cannot get enough of it! It’s a bbq and Asian concept and it’s amazing. The brisket is delicious but the sauces could be changed as they only have two types of bbq sauce and ones spicy and ones tangy mustard. Both not great. Service gets busy and some items take long to make but brisket they cut up and serve right away. Long lines on weekends and limited hours but love it.
All I can say is wow!! What a nice surprise! My husband found this place while scrolling instagram so we decided to give it a try. First impression walking in was distracting since they are upgrading the outside mall. However, walking into the restaurant the aroma of smoked brisket and barbecue started calling for us! The atmosphere was very welcoming and definitely has that country feel. Surprisingly surrounded by Tejańo music. We order the nachos and a 1/4 lbs of brisket to top my nachos. My husband got the smoked turkey Bánh mì sandwich with wild rice, some Mac n “ cheese. Everything was so flavorful and the brisket was very moist and juicy.
