Mei Dong Garden - Belle Plaine

I’ve been dining at this restaurant for many years, and my whole family has become great friends with the owners. They serve the best egg rolls—nothing compares! The rest of their food is also excellent. I appreciate how concerned the owners are about making sure no one leaves hungry. My personal favorite dish is the shrimp sky. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

I'm not quite sure how to put it, but Garden is a charming, family-run Chinese restaurant offering delicious food! We order from here at least once a month. Although the restaurant has a bit of a negative reputation due to its less popular buffet, which can mean the food isn't always the freshest, I highly recommend ordering takeout or dining in—you'll be pleasantly surprised. This is not the same as LeAnn Chin or Panda Express; it's true homemade Chinese cuisine!

We are quite selective when it comes to Chinese buffets, but we truly enjoy this restaurant. The prices are great, and we've never been disappointed with the food. We usually visit for dinner and enjoy the drive to Belle Plaine.

Mei Dong is so delicious. Everybody likes it. I haven't met anyone who doesn't love Mei Dong. Somehow, I just think about Mei Dong when I water my mouth. You should really try. A visit to Mei Dong leaves you full and plans your next visit.
