I chose the fried chicken and my wife ordered the frog legs. we were both surprised at how good these diners were. we had plenty left over for take out. please note the cook and Edna are of an ethnic background where there is plenty of loud voices exchanged between them which can be annoying and disturbing.
I have been to Edna's several times over the last few months as I have been working in the area. This is family run restaurant that has been incredible to me. They are always welcoming and seem genuinely happy to see you. The building itself is nothing special, pretty old actually, But food is very good, I have tried several foods on the menu and have not had anything I can complain about. Their portions are a bit over the top especially with the fries but that not a bass thing, you can always take some home. Their home made burgers, turkey club and broasted chicken are a must try. For breakfast lovers they also have an all day breakfast that is very good. I would definitely recommend Edna's.
First time to Edna's and one of many. Kids had yellow perch and it was very fresh. I had frog legs and it was delicious (if you like frog legs). Coconut pie was a hit with the wife.
Great lunch, breakfast. Never seize to amaze me at the repeatability on the quality and consistency of the lunch and dinner served. Lots of food done the way that I wanted in numerous repeat visits. Home firies cooked just right not greasy but hot and dry. More bacon than I have seen at other restaurants and again cooked just the way I wanted each time.
Food is ok if you like fried things. Restaurant is not the best but locals seem to like it. Good Breakfast.
