Balance Coffee And Tea - Belleville

Found this place doing a Google search for whole bean coffee. This is a really nice place on the inside. I bought Regular Joe coffee beans. They ground them the way I wanted. Staff was very friendly. My coffee smelled super good. But.....the flavor didn't match the aroma. The flavor is just average. For a dark roast, it just wasn't there. Since they roast in-house I was expecting something better. However I will be back and continue to try this business. The price for a bag is within reason and comparable to other coffee. As I mentioned before, good service and a nice atmosphere. Give them a try. Maybe my next visit will be a 5 star

A great Belleville stop on your way to or from work! Balance renovated an old train depot into a comfy coffee house with a great selection and a friendly staff! Parking can be a little tight, but most people are in and out pretty quickly. The breakfast sandwiches and protein balls were a great start to the day!

My espresso drinks were beautiful and delicious. The croissant sandwich was delicious. The staff is friendly. I love that they only use biodegradable plastics and paper for their to-go containers. And, the atmosphere is comforting and wonderful. My only negative thought is that I wish they wouldn't grill press their croissant sandwiches. I appreciate having a hot sandwich, and every part of it is delicious. But, let the croissant part be the flaky and airy pastry it was meant to be.

A very nice small town coffee shop with a great vibe. The staff is super friendly. Good coffee but the muffin I had was spectacular. They also have gluten-free items as well if that is your thing. A nice space that adds to the overall experience.

Ok let me clear, I'm a tea person not a coffee person. So I was very happy with the variety of tea options available and that Chai and Matcha were also options. We got a regular Chai latte and an almond milk Chai latte with Vanilla. Neither were overly sweet or overly spiced. I also appreciated that because I was with my children the barista did NOT make the drinks piping hot. We sat outside which to be honest is not relaxing because they're right off a busy street and the parking situation leaves a little to be desired but il definitely be back. Hubby is the coffee guy so I'll make sure he reviews when we bring him. Shout out for the biodegradable cups, lids, straws, etc. Oh and after work you can enjoy an adult beverage at this establishment, as well.
