The pasta dishes we ordered (Spaghetti and Fettuccine) were pasty while chewing, suggesting a different brand of pasta was being used. The spaghetti with tomato sauce lacked sauce, so we had to ask for more. The sauce tasted like pure roasted tomatoes from a can, lacking in spices. My chicken fettuccine dish was supposed to have a half breast of chicken, but only had two small squares of chicken. The salad was good, but the Caesar dressing was bland, requiring additional salt and pepper. The breadsticks were fresh and beautiful, but somewhat bland. Overall, our experience was disappointing, and it seems that the restaurant has undergone changes under new ownership.
Amazing lunch! I had soup, salad, and the house specialty. The price was great and the food was delicious! The all-you-can-eat option is available again and definitely worth checking out.
Mario's East used to be a fantastic chain, but now they charge overly high prices for small portions of average food. It's unclear why customers continue to dine here, as I am surprised they are still able to stay in business.
SO BUSY! It's a small location. Friday night was jammed. The staff was nice and the food was fast. Worst Pasty was waiting for a table to get free.
Haven’t been to ESM in years, we decided to take the easy route this evening and go for quick easy dinner, it was the all you can eat salad and pasta that came to mind. After waiting almost 20 mins for our server to arrive...for our drink order. We order our drinks and meals and waited for our salad and bread to arrive. Well the salad was so small in that giant red bowl we asked for 3 more bowls and that made a side salad for 2. Our pastas were bland, small, and very little sauce. The only thing that was good were our beers. Save your money, go somewhere else.
