I love Pupusas! When I heard this restaurant serves Pupusas every Thursday, I had to come try them. I'm definitely not sorry! I've had other Pupusas in Omaha, but this place is now at the top of my list. They make the best!! My favorite is the Pork, Bean, and Cheese. If you go, don't forget to order a side of Avocado salsa. Last time I forgot the salsa and my son was devastated. Ha! Don't forget the salsa! It's so good! The staff have been very nice and friendly. I now want to try all their sandwiches as well.
I've been hearing for a while now that the pupusas here are pretty good so we finally got some from here today (they're only available on Thursdays). Glad to say that the people here are friendly that the service is fairly quick. The quality of the pupusas are top notch; they're the best ones I've eaten anywhere so far. I'll have to perhaps try out some of the sandwiches one of these times. Highly recommended place overall.
My first time trying this place. The club sandwich is pretty good. Way better once I added the lettuce, tomatoes and onions to it. Needed more then the one packet of mayo to make it less dry but overall good. Not a huge fan of the potato salad (too plain for me) and the cookie was a bit on the hard side but good flavor- not burnt! All in all, I'd do a few things differently on my next order but I would order again in the future.
I try to support the local small companies, but the sandwiches here are not good. I ordered the French Dip and philly cheese soup. The bread is store bought and the roast beef is just plain sliced deli meat with only a few thin slices. The soup was just ok. The staff was courteous, but I will not be going back.
