Food was good. Meats were well seasoned and cooking your own food was fun for the kiddo. Wait help was attentive enough and responsive to our needs. Didn't like them going through their cleaning routine right next to us while we were dining. Could have been done less intrusively as they were noisy and made a bunch of distractions right next to us.

The food is excellent, but the service leaves something to be desired. The server seemed a bit unfriendly.

Staff is super friendly but I feel bad for them because many times the store seems understaffed- but they keep their smiles on! Food is super delicious, we dined in last week and yesterday ordered to go. Their raw meat platter to cook at home…. Yum! Highly recommended! I can’t tell which meat was which because i didn’t keep track but each you can taste a different marinade and the meats have different textures

We visited Gyu-Kaku almost weekly. It's quite popular here! So you'd better reserve a table before coming in. Based on our previous 10+ visit here, we highly recommend beef, pork, and shrimp. Among beef, we recommed New York Steak, Angus Beef Rib, and Harami Skirt Steak. They provide grill guide for different food on the table. They serve 3 different kinds of sauce and each one is gluten-free and great taste! They also have multiple choices for desserts. The most unique one is S'mores. You will grill the marshmallow and put it with chocolate between cookies. The high temp of marshmallow will melt the chocolate. For me, the dessert is over sweet. But the process is quite magical. If you have not tried it before, you may want to have a try.
