Runza - Bellevue

This is likely the best chain restaurant hamburger in Nebraska, and their fries are definitely top-notch. However, during our last visit, the service was a bit slow, and the person at the cash register didn't seem well-prepared for a busy crowd. On a positive note, I really appreciate the self-serve drink refills, and the drive-thru experience is usually quite good.

Generally, the food is quite good, but there can be inconsistencies. I've ordered the same dish on different days and received one that was hot, fresh, and delicious on one occasion, while the same meal was lukewarm and soggy the next time. Additionally, the dining area can sometimes be unkempt, with many tables left dirty, which makes me think they might be short-staffed.

DO NOT USE THE ORDER AHEAD OPTION! They completely disregard any customization requests! The food is prepared in advance and is cold by the time you pick it up. Additionally, my order was missing items, such as a sautéed onion and tomato burger and a whole chili! I won't be returning for online orders.

What nice service at lunch. Woman behind counter was super efficient. Good fresh and hot. New interior model is pleasant.

Runza Restaurant was a good meal. The Swiss and Mushroom Runza was not offensive but it is definitely a regional food. It is not something i will be craving.It was not very visually appealing. If you get a kidsmeal don't forget the free ice-cream cone. The coupon is on the paper bag that the kids meal comes in. For the most part the restaurant was clean. The men's room had anissue though, The handle for the faucet was completely broken off. To use it you had to figure out how it fit on. Thedrive-thru line can back up and block parking and traffick trying to drive around the restaurant. There is handicapped parkingbut the doors are not automatic.
