Stopped here with family for lunch. I had pad see ew with chicken and eveey bite was delicious. The staff were friendly and service was fast despite being busy.
I ordered the chicken pad see ew — it was underwhelming.. very little flavor compared to the last place I had it in SEA (5/5). 3 or 4 pieces of what I’d call “cheap broccoli” (probably bulk pre packaged in plastic).. that wasn’t cooked enough (very hard and crunchy), also lacked flavor. Felt like i got the bottom of the barrel on the chicken too lol. (Small little nubs, like popcorn chicken or something) — maybe I just got unlucky ? Idk. When I’m paying $20+ pad Thai I guess just had higher expectations (fresh dark green broccoli and a nice serving of meat) Hostess who took my order was nice, restaurant looked nice inside (took mine to go). Bottom line: I ate it, it was alright , I don’t think I’d order from here again though.
The sauces taste lovely, the veggies are nicely cooked. I think they cook the meat in a steamer and toss it on the food just before serving. The chicken in the fresh roll was dry ground pellets. The chicken was dry white flat pieces in the pud Thai . The pork was cut similarly to the chicken but tasted slightly better but still so dry… service was pretty slow.
Good food and variety. Spice level can be a bit hit-and-miss, but that's pretty common.
