From various, unique flavors in empanadas (both savory and sweet selections , to loaded tater tots and a jackfruit version of a fried chicken sandwich (that is so good, that it sells out!!!! . I really like this truck, the owner even added a quinoa chili to the menu when I asked about vegan gluten free options (the tater tots are fried in the same fryer as the empanadas so there's risk of cross contamination . 5 stars
I’ve only had their empanadas but they were DELICIOUS! Can’t wait to try the vegan chicken bucket next!
I ordered the mini-quadilla that, ironic wasn't mini, but it was good. I ordered the Buffalo-Kick’n and was given the without the Buffalo sauce so that I definitely missed the heat, but overall it was good! I also loved that it came with riders who were really delicious! it is a sweet vegan shop with cool tasty and snacks. I'm going back to the finals.
My husband and I recently went to the first Long Island Vegan Popup, and when we got there, the food options for pretty slim. Luckily, the Happy Pig was still open! We got the sausage peppers empanadas (it was the only non-dessert empanada available by then, the rest were sold out but it was so good. Not too hot. The empanadas were smaller than I expected, but the price was really good, so I won't complain. Looking forward to trying more of their menu in the future!
Various vegan empanadas, from sweet to savory. We tried The Puerto Rican, Sausage and Peppers, Chorizo, Macaroni and Meatballs, Apple and Blueberry. Also, tried the chili over tots. It was good
