Popolo - Bellows Falls

I had a lovely and light Friday evening salad and wine at this restaurant. It was nice to sit at the bar, take in the atmosphere, and unwind. I really enjoyed the experience.

The food at this restaurant is delicious, and I also used to work here (but that's another story). The dining experience is excellent, and the servers are wonderful. I recommend being cautious when it reopens to see who the current staff are.

My partner and I have been coming to this restaurant for years. It is our go-to spot for romantic dates, and I absolutely love the food and drinks here. The shrub is especially delicious - five stars all the way!

I visited this restaurant for lunch some time ago and was disappointed with the menu due to my low-carb diet, so I didn't return. However, I recently went back for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. I informed the waitress that I wanted to have dinner without rice or potatoes and requested extra salad instead. She returned with my meal, which included zucchini noodles that the chef had specially prepared for me. I was impressed by their willingness to accommodate my request, as many places are not so flexible. The food was delicious, and I also enjoyed the romantic candlelit atmosphere, perfect for a date night.

I have visited Popolo twice now, and on both occasions, I was highly impressed with the attention to detail and high quality of the food, as well as the friendly and efficient service from the staff. This is definitely a top-notch restaurant, so if you haven't been yet, I highly recommend you treat yourself and go check it out.
