China Garden (not Graden) - Belmont

It's takeout only, but just as good as I remember from a long time ago!

The staff here are incredibly pleasant! I mistakenly placed an order at this restaurant while trying to order from a China Garden that is an hour away. When I realized my error, they kindly refused to charge me for the call. I have no doubt that their food is fantastic!

Having lived in New Hampshire for 35 years, I've tried nearly every Chinese restaurant in the area. From duck sauce to pork and steak tips to chicken, everything I ordered at China Garden was fresh, juicy, and simply prepared. This was a refreshing change from the 20 or so other places I've visited. I ended up going here because my usual spot had closed down, and now I am happy to say that China Garden is my top choice for Chinese food moving forward. It's also more reasonably priced!

I love this place! Very delicious food and the owners are super friendly! The food is always made fresh and the fried food is never greasy like other places in the area near the outlets. From the Wanton soup to the Chicken teriyaki sticks, you can not go wrong with this place. I literally have 6 more Chinese restaurants to go to China Garden. Best tasting and not cheap prefabricated food. If I'd take something apart, I'd say the egg rolls. They only taste like cabbage. I wish they would add more pork, shrimp and ginger mixture because it would literally make them the best in the lake region! The dining room is closed, so just take off, but let us face, we all eat Chinese food for out 99% of the time anyway.

From the fresh ingredients to authentic touches, like tiger lily buds black ear mushrooms in the hot sour soup this is good as it gets in the lakes region.
