Chicken On The Run - Belmopan

The refrigerator chicken was so amazing that we had it for dinner and returned for lunch the next day. The staff were wonderful, and the prices were great too. I'll definitely be coming back again and again, even if I have to convince myself!

The roasted chicken is incredibly tasty, prepared in the classic Belizean Chinese style. At just $6 for a generous portion, it's a great deal. The fried rice is also excellent.

I believe that's the best fried chicken I've had in Belize. You definitely have to try the fried rice when it's available. You can watch the Chinese/Belizean cook prepare the chicken right in front of you, and they'll let you know how long it will take for your order. The fries are frozen, but they're crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. This is my go-to spot for fried chicken.

Chicken On The Run serves fresh delicious fried chicken with fries fried and salted just right. Their fried chicken is priced at the same $6.00 as other chinese restaurants except for breast which is a dollar more. The appearance of this restaurant has changed nicely and during the few times I have been here it always looks clean and feels cool. Whenever you call to place an order and arrive to pick it up you still have to wait which isn't that convenient; otherwise I do recommend that you stop and try their delicious fried chicken with fries, you'll love it.
