Left Grand Forks on a mission. A mission to visit the source of so many 6 packs of Summer IPA that I have destroyed. On the highway 2, there was a detour that led me to a less traveling road (92) through Clearbrook. Nice ride. I came to Bemidji Brewing at 11. There are many street parking places and 4 spots (one disabled) right in front. The AC is very nice inside, but they also have a beautiful small terrace. I sat at the beautiful wooden plate bar. All low and high tops behind me were unoccupied, but I was told to come 3-4pm it is full to capacity. You have a small menu that is quite legit, but the beer is the star of the show. Came for the summer IPA and ended in love with the blood Orange IPA. (No worries, 7 of the 10 on **** are not IPAs) They have a reward system that records your visits and gives you points. The staff is very knowledgeable and super friendly. 100% returns to Bemidji Brewing. @devinejd
Beautiful taproom with a large selection, a few Hoppy IPAs stood out and good stouts, sours were definitely unique. Had appetizers and pasties, but unfortunately they were sold from some of the pasty options, but what we had was delicious. Easy walk from other attractions in downtown Bemidji, family-friendly and relaxed.
Must try the Oud Bruin Kriek! It takes up to two years to make them a real winner since his age in maple-sirup barrels and with the pasture of sour cherries! The chocolate Peanut Butter Stout also loved it. Very rich peanut flavor and the addition of chocolate does not overwhelm with sweetness. Lemondrop Blonde is a perfect Shandy with a slotted citrus flavor.
We loved visiting here! The beers were great! The staff was really nice and they seemed to love their job. Really cool to have the local beers. We will be coming back again when we visit bemidji again. Their sour beers are my favorite
