Mediterranean Gyros Hummus - Bemidji

The real deal so many small places use frozen gyro meat. not here, really on the flesh. the kreise are huge.

This place is awesome, the food was so delicious and fresh! The staff were very friendly and kind. I got a number one with a salad and the salad was AMAZING, also tried their fries and they were awesome! Definitely would recommend this to any one who wants something different

The food was great. I had a regular gyro. I would have gave five stars. The owner came out and was very rude to his employee. Yelling at him instead of coaching him in how to fill and wrap a gyro. I personally thought the employee was doing great as he made me a nice, full gyro!

I was very excited to find out that there was a Mediterranean place in town, but was very disappointed after trying it. I ordered a chicken schwarma which has alway been my usual in other places. The food here tasted very cheap and greasy. Not to mention the 30 minute wait, there were only 3 customers ahead of us. Low and behold, after all this, food poisoning to go along with it. I'd rather eat a half eaten sandwich off the ground next to an outhouse then go here again.

Alright ladies and gentlemen, buckle up and get comfortable because this is going to be a long one. Mediterranean Gyros and Hummus, the business has been advertising for over 2 months that they would be open by the end of January 2019. Of course this did not happen, by mid February they kept saying “We’ll be open by Friday.” This of course.... did not happen. Finally one day they just decided “F it lets open up today just out of the blue.” This was FINALLY on Monday February 25th 2019. I went there on Tuesday February 26th 2019, not expecting to be perfect, I mean after all it is just their second day of business. It was a train wreck to say the least. I ordered the Gyro Combo, which is $5.99 I found this out later and found that I was charged for something else entirely paying $9.16. I got no ice in my drink, and got to stand awkwardly for 25 minutes until they finally gave me my order, at least I thought so. They have no sort of number system or name system to call out your food when it is ready, instead they say “Who had _____?” Not only that but they messed up the guys order in front of me and he had to come back and they remade it. The guy who was there before both me and the gentleman before me? Yeah he was there for 30 mins and I got my food before him. Ridiculous. The employees were kinda just standing around trying to look busy and not actually doing anything other than 2 people trying to both work on the same order. I didn’t see one person who got their food in less than 15 minutes. The food is okay, but honestly I’ve had Arby’s Gyros that we’re better and that’s just embarrassing. I want to see this place succeed, really I do. But they need to make some MAJOR changes in order for that to happen. I will update my review on my next visit.
