Los Almendros - Benahavis

Ordered prawn pil pil and was told 30 minutes later it was coming soon, ordered a pizza at the bar shortly after because you barely see the waiters. Pizza arrived around 20 minutes later and told the waiter we have still not received the prawn pil pil and said to leave it now as it was an hour since we ordered it. We ordered ham and pineapple Pizza and was given ham and mushroom Pizza , the waiter sped off before we could let him know about the wrong order. My wife then went in to ask for some pineapple for the pizza as we got given the wrong order and was told we did not order it and we would have to pay, she then said that the service was bad and we had not received the prawn pil pil yet. She was then called a liar and said we had not ordered prawn pil pil, she then had two male staff screaming agressively at her and waiving their hands in front of her in front of everyone in the resturant. No apology from the 2 people that did this, just the owner and staff apologised. Would avoid like the plague!!! Shocking

We spent an absolutely wonderful evening here. We didn’t eat so cannot comment on the food but the friendliness, kindness and service of the staff could not be faulted. They made us feel so welcome especially our children. My eight year old daughter sat at the bar and chose the music on their laptop which was played over the speakers. The location is perfect with exceptional views and a lovely breeze. Thank you so much to Sergio and the rest of the staff for making us so welcome and looking after us.

Great location but terrible service and bad food. No idea how to run somewhere with such huge potential! Grumpy staff....no organisation at all

Called in for a quick drink to ‘check the place’ out to eat in future although the views are undoubtedly fantastic the hospitality doesn’t match this weren’t made to feel particularly welcome the menu didn’t look that great or inviting think there’s better options available close by at Monte Halcones for food but they obviously don’t have the same views.

Visited here whilst staying at La Heredia, although the views were amazing I should have got up and left as soon as the menu was as given to us! I resembles a kebab shop menu and was filthy. Myself and my husband ordered the swordfish and mine was inedible, the fish was not fresh and was so thin and over cooked. When we complained the waiter just brushed it off. The Children all said that their food was bland and served with frozen chips. When the bill came we refused to pay for my food as I hadn’t eaten it, we could here the waiter shouting about us to the other staff. If you want fresh authentic Spanish food then please don’t waste your time or money here. It’s fine for drinks but that’s it.
