Contribuisci feedbackWe stayed at the hotel Balmoral where the food was unpleasant so it was great to find this little gem around the corner. It is only small but the tapas and wine was fantastic and very well priced starting from two euros for a glass of Rioja and two euros for a tapas. Both Salva and Karin made us very welcome along with many of the locals making it a great atmosphere. A great thanks to both of them
We have been to Benalmadena many times and tried this on a sunny afternoon. Ordered 4 tapas (no menu) at 2€ each and 2 glasses of wine also at 2€ each. We were served liver, paella, meatballs and lamb chops. All well cooked and fresh. Enjoyed our snack so much we had a 2nd wine. Great service and we'll definitely be back. Recommended.
While the city is overrun with tourists and most of the restaurants are offering tourist-trap menus, this hidden gem of a place gave us the most authentic and welcomed feeling during the whole trip. An eccentric Spaniard Salvador and his cooking-artist of a wife, Karin, create an atmosphere and food that is weirdly unique to Costa del Sol. If you manage to eat anything else after the deliciously varied choice of Tapas (try everything! , don't hesitate to order what-ever they have to offer at that time, because you'll know Karin will prepare it with care and precision that is surprisingly hard to find in most touristic areas. While the food is cheap, there is nothing cheap about the food.
We stumbled across this restaurant away from the main road in a quiet alley. It has a great atmosphere and amazing food. The owners were very welcoming and served up some very tasty local dishes. I would say the best tapas I've eaten yet and the sangria is well up there. My wife and I found ourselves going back day after day and look forward to eating there again when we go back to Benalmadena.
Great. tasty food like years ago I didn't eat. It is a pleasure to enjoy a tasty meal. they are also very nice. we ate Russian saladilla, callos, croquettes and German-style codillo. If you pass, I recommend it. Enjoy your palate.
