Baldy's Barbeque - Bend

I love Baldy's East. I've been through food several times on my way and eaten. Always great service and bbq to point.

Only what prevented me from a star was the server/manager. She did a great job with our service. HOWEVER! Our food was lousy! We ordered the whole smoked chicken Coleslaw Cornbread. Chicken was so hard and we just chew 1/2. Pretty tasteless. Very disappointing. Very expensive for what we have.

The ribs, burned ends and sides were great. The chicken and the brisket were average. The chicken with unusual sauce was dry. The brisket was just fine. I wasn't a big fan of the two sauces. I prefer Bbq, who doesn't need a sauce, and it felt like they needed to keep the meat moist. It's still good bbq, but it's not great bbq.

Pork great. Ribs alright. Coleslaw is delicious!!! Sauce is good too. I wish they did a chopped brisket instead of just sliced.

By far one of the most negative dining experience I have ever had. The waitress were bickering and fighting all night. The young lady out of the 3 that were on the floor was the only one being quiet and she seemed to be taking the brunt of the anger. Service was extremely slow. Food was sub par. Pictures of our sauce covered wings. This place is not what it used to be. I understand COVID has an effect on things, but I can get better service at McDonald?s from a teenager with a social disorder. Absolutely ridiculous. I walked out and actually went to the McDonald?s right across the road because it was so terrible. I was charged 9.99 for the one wing I ate?.
