This restaurant is always a great option for a peaceful meal with delicious food.

Unfortunately, they were short-staffed that night, with the predictable consequences. It was my first time at this restaurant, and although it didn't meet the expectations in the reviews, the food was acceptable.

We had good food and fine service. We got there at 5, opening time, with a reservation. We go early so we can miss the crowds. The only thing that I disagreed with was how they seated us and the other two parties that came in, all close to the same time. The restaurant was empty and we were seated closely right next to each other. The restaurant was empty other than us. I understand seating close, maybe there was only one server, but it was a little silly. And felt like we were too close, I think the other two-tops could have felt the same.

This restaurant is very inconsistent. We had a great meal here recently and couldn't wait to come again. We ordered the same dishes -this meal was just okay. I ordered the king salmon both times. It looked similar but not nearly as flavorful, not as well executed. Mashed potatoes were okay. Sauce maybe needed more salt or seasoning. Interestlngly, they were not that busy when we went on Saturday, the night before NYE. Our mid-week experience was much better and restaurant was busy too.
