The Reservoir Hotel - Bendigo

We went to the resevoir hotel for my birthday dinner. It was priced at a fairly standard amount (We paid $58 for two adult meals and drinks) and was very pleased that our kids ate free (Mondays and Tuesdays).I had the meat lovers parma and was quite satisfied with it. Large portion sizes (except perhaps the risotto) and nothing overcooked. Good night out!

Celebrated a family birthday here recently. We were pleasantly surprised. Staff were attentive and helpful. Hotel currently been renovated to included more eating areas and function rooms. Meals were delicious. Only negatives to mention, the vegetable lasagna was quite a small portion. And a roast of the day could have been a nice addition to the lunch menu. Plenty of parking. We will return. I'm keen to try the week day lunch specials.

Heard about the recent changes to the menu and cook, and thought it was worth a shot. Visited with a party of 12 adults and a couple of young ones and was not overwhelmed with the menu and its contents, it has a couple of what seemed like stand out meals (Salmon and Pork Belly) they also underwhelmed those who tried them.Nothing spectacular and was quite miffed that the specials were both Curry dishes? A few of us had the fish which went from greasy and oily to pretty underwhelming in terms of taste, although serving sizes were pretty generous. No one raved about the food across the table but food was ok price wise.Overall i won't be rushing back. I have had a lot better at other places in the area.Also a busy night and food took from 40 - 50 to arrive at the table. As I said there is better.

Had lunch there a relaxed setting ,meal was okay,The menu choice is good.All in all I had a nice time.

Reasonable menu, though prices are a bit steep for pub and quality of meals. Bistro area has quite a nice décor, and service has always been very good. Efficient friendly staff.
