They have this unique baked rasogulla.The flavour was amazing and the sweet was fresh.A must try for people looking for something out of the box sweet dish.
This place is always famous for delicious sweet. Price is too high to maintain the quality. Taste is same like other outlets. Overall, it's a good experience if you would like to try all type of famous sweets from Kolkata.
When it comes to sweets I prefer our traditional Indian sweets over cakes and pastries. I was never a fan of Banchharam’s till recent time when a friend gave me their mishti doi and ever since I like them. Yesterday I visited Banchharam’s Marathahalli outlet for the third time and tasted few sweets like Kacha golla, and mini peda while giving order for takeaway. Nolen gurer rosgulla and matka mishti doi were really good. <br/ <br/ I always like the beige colored, stamped peda and the one tried at Banchharam was bit too dry but still tasty. While waiting for the sweets I happened to see the beautiful jholbhara Sandesh and next time I will try this sweet for sure. I didn’t want to try too many stuffs and get a sugar rush. Kacha golla was very soft and delicate. Even though the shop guys didn’t explain much about sweets (also tags were not there they did a good job by suggesting this sweet to me. I just loved it. Their pricing is on the higher side but considering the fact that they uses fresh dairy products the ‘highly priced’ feeling can be ignored ;
The ultimate one stop destination for all Bengali sweet lovers where I have been frequently visiting since past 5 years. I love this small place of happiness.<br/ <br/ Starting from Mishti doi to Rajbhod to kachagolla, they have it all. There are chana sondesh as well as sorbhaja. They keepsome nimkee (namkeen) at store too. To keep up with increasing local demand they have come up with Kaju barfi type sondesh too. there is a small place to stand and eat, much like the local way.<br/ <br/ the place is keep and prices are moderate.
